Youth Services

Our participation is designed to encourage boys and girls to develop into good citizens and to adjust to social, economic and moral demands placed upon them. Our projects include:

  • Presenting a $750 Citizenship Award to a graduating student in each of Oakville's High Schools. The recipients are selected by the school administrators for exhibiting exemplary citizenship.

  • Youth Curling, Moms and Tots Program, Kiwanis Music Fesival, KSM, Oakwood Public School, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Halton Trauma Centre in Oakville.

  • Financial assistance for drug education and leadership conferences

  •

Sponsored Youth

We believe that our youth will develop leadership and citizenship skills if they are given encouragement and support. Kiwanis has BUILDERS, KEY and CIRCLE "K" CLUB programs available from elementary to university levels.
