Oakville Kiwanis Meals on Wheels Volunteers The success of our program is a result of the generous donation of time and the efforts of our volunteers. All meal deliveries are made by volunteers and take approximately two hours. Volunteers are interviewed by staff and on the job training is provided. The volunteer positions available are: Regular Delivery: Drives a selected route on a weekly or alternative week on a regular basis. Spare Driver: Is NOT scheduled on a regular basis, but is available on an as needed basis, or in an emergency. Office Volunteer: Assists in the office on a monthly basis with our billings, answering telephones, etc. |
