The Windjammers Concert

Description: In true Cabaret style anything can happen, and might, at the 2009 Windjammers Concert including music from the Broadway musical Cabaret. Medleys of wonderful old favourites from composers Hoagy Carmichael's famous song Stardust and Henry Mancini of Moon River fame, and the big band music of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Woody Herman. Vocals from Eleanor McCain will include: As Time Goes By, But Not For Me, Over the Rainbow, Someone to Watch Over Me, Blue Moon, and Shenandoah.

September 24th, 2009 - The Kiwanis Club of Oakville Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Please join us for the 2009 Kiwanis Club of Oakville’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The Oakville Kiwanis Club have been serving our community since 1951. Our members, Kiwanians, are service-minded men and women who are united in their commitment and compassion for others. The tournament’s proud tradition of raising funds to help children's charities continues in 2009!
The golfing gets underway at 12:15 p.m. Participants are treated to an excellent lunch, dinner and have the chance to win some great prizes. Cost is$120 per person! $110 if paid before July 15th. Dinner only, $35
