Community Services
We seek ways to serve the aging and the needy as well as the young , and to participate in civic events designed to strengthen family and community ties and build patriotism.
-
To assist others in the community, we have provided financial support to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton, the Salvation Army, Kerr Street Ministries,Oakwood Parent Child Centre and, Oakville Junior Curling, St. John Ambulance, Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre, Easter Seals and ALS
We developed the Meals-On-Wheels program in 1976 and continue to provide financial, administrative and operational support. An average of 2,500 meals per month is currently delivered by over 140 volunteers.
The Kiwanis Club of Oakville Inc. and The Kiwanis Club of Mississauga South will organize the annual curling tournament to raise funds for charities in their communities.
