Our motto is "Kiwanis for kids"
The Oakville Kiwanis Club has been serving our community since April 4th, 1951. Our members, Kiwanians, are service-minded men and women who are united in their commitment and compassion for others. Any community need can become a Kiwanis service project, especially the needs of children.
Our Club recently set up a Charitable Foundation in order to receive bequests, donations, legacies and grants; we now have the ability to issue proper income tax receipts. The additional capital, which we will be seeking to attract, will permit us to expand our level of support to local worthy organizations.
Purpose: to improve lives through fellowship in service worldwide.
Our Defining Statement is: Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
